I have to admit that I am not much of a news fanatic (not unlike kim ;) ) But everything I learn from the news is mostly from Cracked.com Okay, okay it isnt really news. Its just information that you might not hear otherwise (Okay it is kind of news) but most of it is unimportant in normal life. I found out that someone wrote a book on his experience on eating a human being (and became famous for it). This did not really make me a well rounded person from hearing it, and did not change my outlook on my life. Not my best work but like I said it's kind of news.
As for radio, I only listen to it when my CD player in my car is too cold to use (only in Nunavut) but my music has never been very current. It is popular, but I hardly ever update my music. My ipod (which I have to admit is a very large trend) has not been synced for over 5 months. So my playlist is . . .
Tongue Tied - Charlie Winston
Until the Day I Die - Story of the Year
Memory - Sugarcult
Zip-Lock - Lit
Blow - Ke$ha (hone$tly, who is the "$" fooling?)
This morning Paul asked me "Huvin?" and I had to laugh to myself. That old slang word that was never popular in this town. All I could say was "Nah, you?" which is the natural response coming from a rankin-er. I was surprised to find that the slang across our territory is completely different, even though we are all closely linked and that old slang becomes a new joke #trend
